Sir Michael Rocks- Premier Politics 1.5 (Mixtape)

Today Sir Mike dropped this mixtape which was the follow up to his album from last year, "Premier Politics". It contains a lot of songs that didn't get put on the album and I think all in all it's a great tape.

Chance the Rapper- #10day (Mixtape)

This guy is super impressive. After releasing a lot of great music over the last month or so, the Chicago rapper Chance the Rapper dropped this super heavy mixtape #10day today. It's fantastic and has some sick verses, as well as a couple tracks produced by Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids. Definitely check this tape out.

Stalley- Savage Journey to the American Dream (Mixtape)

Bei Maejor- Upscale (mixtape)

Bei Maejor dropped this mixtape today entitled upscale. Bei is kind of a jack of all trades. He raps, produces, and sings as well. This is kind of similar to a Johnny Polygon tape where some of it is singing and some of it is rap. This one is more R&B than rap, and although I'm not a big fan of R&B, I enjoy this mixtape and Bei definitely has a lot talent. For sure worth a download.

Mickey Factz- Mickey MauSe (Mixtape)

An interesting concept, Mickey Factz dropped this mixtape today. The tape has been described as  "a pseudo character created by RCA artist Mickey Factz who is thrown into the 1980’s as a graffiti writer who was among the stars of that decade: Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kenny Scharf, Fab Five Freddy, then mentor Andy Warhol, etc." The few songs I have listened to off of this tape have been nice, and it's definitely worth a front to back listen.

XV- Yellow Brick Road to SXSW (Mixtape)

Just a few moments ago, XV dropped this mixtape on his twitter. I have been extremely, ridiculously excited for XV to drop another project. XV is crazy talented and he is definitely up next in the line of rappers to start blowing up. The few songs I have listened to so far off of this tape are awesome, and I don't expect the rest of it to be any different. This is a must download.

Boldy James- Consignment (Mixtape)

Today, Boldy James dropped his mixtape Consignment. On this site we've featured a couple songs from the mixtape (such as Consignment and Oil Sheen) and both of them were good songs. Boldy lived up to my expectations with the rest of the songs and put together a solid mixtape. He has a nice flow, great beats, and all the right features in all the right places. I would most definitely recommend checking this mixtape out as well as looking out for Boldy in the near future.

BJ The Chicago Kid- Pineapple Now-Laters

BJ The Chicago Kid dropped his mixtape "Pineapple Now-Laters" today on iTunes. It's a solid mixtape with a couple tracks featuring Kendrick Lamar and some smooth beats.
