Chance the Rapper- Hey Ma

To hype up his tape #10day that drops April 3rd, Chance the Rapper dropped this song today. It's a great song in my opinion and I'm extremely excited for this tape to drop.

Download the song here.

Wale- Oliver Twist Freestyle

Going in over Nigerian artist D'Banj's huge club hit Oliver Twist, Wale spits some sick bars and shows off his classic lyricism on this track.

Stalley- Savage Journey to the American Dream (Mixtape)

Yesterday, the MMG artist dropped his highly anticipated mixtape Savage Journey to the American Dream. It's a solid tape with some good features and after many good things recently from Stalley, this one is no different.

Boldy James ft. Logic & Aaron Williams- Take Whats Ours (Music Video)

Today Boldy James dropped the first video off of his recent tape "Consignment: A Favor for A Favor". The song features Logic as well as Aaron Williams. They're great complements to Boldy's smooth flow. It's a pretty decent video to a good song. Check it out above.

MaLLy- Shine

Hailing out of Minneapolis, Minnesota (AKA the worst state ever) MaLLy dropped this song off his upcoming album The Last Great, set to drop May 15th. MaLLy is a rapper with an extremely smooth flow and he transitions seamlessly between his bars. Lyrically he's on point as well which makes him really fun to listen to. Definitely be on the lookout for his album in a couple months.

Download the song here.

Black Cobain- Low End Freestyle

On this track, Black Cobain goes in over a beat from Jahill. Lyrically Black Cobain is solid and his flow reminds me a lot of Wale while still being a little different. He's definitely interesting and someone to keep an eye on.

Smoke DZA SXSW vlog trailer

Today Smoke DZA dropped the trailer to his first edition of his vlog series He Has Risen. It is shot at SXSW and features a lot of big names, but this is just a trailer. Full edition coming soon.

SpaceGhostPurrp interviews with Thrasher

Recently, SpaceGhostPurrp sat down with Thrasher to talk about his love for skating, the rap scene down in Miami, who his favorite artists are, and more. Check it out above.

QuESt- The Gambler

Today QuESt leaked this track off his upcoming project Fear not Failure. QuESt has a sick flow that reminds me a lot of Lupe Fiasco and his wordplay is really good. He always keeps your interest during his song and this one has an especially catchy hook. A good song overall, definitely worth a listen.

Curren$y Interviews with MTV

Get More: Music News

Recently, Curren$y sat down with MTV and spoke on his new album, working with Pharrell and Wale, and some other subjects.

Bei Maejor- Upscale (mixtape)

Bei Maejor dropped this mixtape today entitled upscale. Bei is kind of a jack of all trades. He raps, produces, and sings as well. This is kind of similar to a Johnny Polygon tape where some of it is singing and some of it is rap. This one is more R&B than rap, and although I'm not a big fan of R&B, I enjoy this mixtape and Bei definitely has a lot talent. For sure worth a download.

Download the tape here.

Schoolboy Q- Brainstorm Freestyle

Recently for the LA Leakers, Schoolboy Q released this song of him going in over Wiz Khalifa's Brainstorm off of Taylor Allderdice. This is one of my favorite beats on Wiz's tape and Schoolboy goes pretty nice on it. Definitely worth a listen.

St. Millie- Coolin Cat (Pretty Flacko Freestyle)

After dropping a single a couple days ago, St. Millie dropped this song of himself going in over A$AP Rocky's Pretty Flacko. It's a pretty good freestyle and with every song he drops I find myself becoming a bigger and bigger fan of St. Millie.

Download the song here.

Buddy ft. Kendrick Lamar- Staircases

A couple weeks after seeing the live performance at SXSW, fans get to hear the CDQ, Pharrell produced song off of Buddy's upcoming album Idle Time. Buddy, emerging Chicago rapper, teams up with Kendrick Lamar out of Compton for a fresh sound and a great song.

Download the song here.

Logic- War Vet

Ok, seriously. Logic is ridiculous. I know I'm just some guy on a blog but if this kid isn't the next big thing to blow up, I have no idea who will be. After getting 20k twitter followers today, he dropped this verse over Tyga's Rack City and honestly I don't even recognize the beat after he's done. He slaughtered it. Download this. Now.

Download the song here.

iMayDay! - TNT (Remix)

iMayDay! has an ultra fucking line up on this song. This remix which is sick as hell features Black Thought, Jon Connor, DJ Khaled (I don't know why he is featured), Jay Rock and Stevie Stone. Haven't heard of a couple dudes on this but this song is really sick and worth a listen. iMayDay! is very impressive and I'm sure you will be hearing a lot from them in the near future.

Jon Connor - The Way I Am

Jon Connor goes way back on this beat when he raps over Eminem's "The Way I Am". This is going to be on his LP "The People Rapper" which drops April 13th. Honestly he goes in on this, and I'm really excited for his LP to drop. Definitely worth a listen.

St. Millie- Something Good

Off his upcoming untitled album, Chicago up and comer St. Millie dropped this song a couple days ago. I passed over it at first but I decided to give it a listen and I'm very impressed. He has a B.o.B. style flow but is lyrically fantastic and the song has a great hook as well. Definitely worth a download. Be on the lookout for when his album drops.

Download the song here.

Drake freestyles on Tim Westwood TV

While over in Europe on tour, Drake freestyled on Tim Westwood TV. To me, this freestyle is kind of weak and just shows how boring and slow Drakes flow is. I'm definitely not a fan of this one, but check it out above and let us know what you think.

Nicki Minaj Feat. Nas, Drake, & Young Jeezy - Champion

Nicki Minaj drops the song "Champion" with a line up that is any main streams teen's wet dream.  The beat to this song is pretty good, and the hook isn't bad either. Usually not a fan of Nicki but overall with these features I think this song is pretty sick. Definitely worth a listen.

Johnny Polygon- Limosexsuperstar

This song has been out for a while now on youtube, but today Johnny Polygon dropped the audio rip to his song Limosexsuperstar. The song will appear on his upcoming album #pussygun. This song is pretty sick and I'm extremely excited for his album.

Download the song here.

Stalley ft. Wale & Anthony Flammia- Home to You

Off of his project Savage Journey to the American Dream (set to drop this friday), Stalley dropped this song featuring MMG artist Wale and Anthony Flammia. It's a pretty good song with a nice beat and Stalley and Wale definitely go in on their verse.

Download the song here.

A$AP Rocky- I Really Mean it/Goblin Freestyle

Recently while on DJ MK's radio show, A$AP dropped these freestyles on the air. For being off the top freestyles, these are pretty sick. A$AP has been releasing a lot of good stuff lately and I'm excited for his next project.

Download the song here.

Theophilus London ft. Blood Orange- Take it off (Dim the Lights)

Today, Theophilus London released this song off his upcoming project Rose Island. It's a really smooth, slow song. Normally I don't like songs that or of this genre but this one isn't bad.

Chevy Woods- Home Run ft. Wiz Khalifa (Music Video)

Today, Wiz Khalifa hypeman Chevy Woods dropped this video to his song Home Run. With Wiz adding a good hook and Chevy dropping a couple nice verses, it's a good song. The music video is pretty typical but not bad.

The Cranberry Show- Cinema (Music Video)

Today, The Cranberry Show dropped their first music video off their sophomore album, Paranormal Karaoke.Cinema as a song is a great song with a great storyline, but the video is even better. Check it out above, it doesn't disappoint.

Chance the Rapper ft. Kid King- F***** Up

Chance the Rapper, up and coming rapper from Chicago, released this track today. It's not off his upcoming tape 10day dropping on April 3rd, but it's really good. I love Chance's flow and lyrically he shows a lot of skill.

Check the song out here.

Tracklist for Stalley's Savage Journey to the American Dream revealed

Today, Stalley dropped the tracklist for Savage Journey to the American Dream, which drops in 3 days. It's shaping up to be a great album with features from Curren$y, Rick Ross, Meek Mill and 2chainz.

Lil B to Speak at NYU

No, seriously, this is really happening. I'm not sure how America can let this happen, but NYU is offering students the "rare opportunity" (seriously, that's how NYU described it) to hear the MC speak. I'm not sure what he's going to speak about, mainly because he's clinically retarded. I'm not really sure why you would pay actual, real money for an actual, real retard to speak at a campus with actual, real intellectuals. If anyone has any idea why this is happening, PLEASE clue me in.

Audio Push - Truth Be Told (Mixtape)

Audio Push Drops Mixtape "Truth Be Told". Has some pretty good features such as Casey Veggies, T. Mills, Chip Tha Ripper, Joe Moses and more. Overall a pretty decent mixtape and worth a listen.

Chamillionaire - Hands on The Wheel (remix)

Chamillionaire goes over SchoolBoy Q's and ASAP Rocky's "Hands On The Wheel". It's a decent remix. Honestly I can't get enough of the original but Chamillionaire doesn't disappoint on this.

Dj Khaled feat. Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne

This song is just set up to be popular as hell, it's got a cast that every mainstream teen will love. It's an okay song I guess, personally I thought it could have been a lot better. I expected a lot more from all these people. I found the hook to be pretty boring, and every verse was pretty average. Honestly it's going to be so damn popular though just because of who is in it. I'd recommend you to listen to it because it's radio bound.

Listen and Download here

Meek Mill- I'm Rollin

Today Meek Mill dropped this song off his upcoming mixtape "Dreamchasers 2". Usually I'm not a fan of the type of music Meek puts out, but at the same time he always surprises me with some songs that I think are really good and this is one of them.

Check the song out here.

Iggy Azalea ft. T.I.- Murda Bizness

Shortly after being named to the XXL Freshman Class of 2012, Iggy Azalea dropped this song off her upcoming album The New Classic. I think it's a pretty decent song, but I'm not a huge fan. The song will be on iTunes later this week, but you can listen above.

Ace Hood feat Game - Different People

Ace Hood teams up with Game on this song "Different People". This will be on Ace Hood's upcoming mixtape "Starvation" which drops March 30th. This is a decent song but I'm sure there will be a lot better on the mixtape when it drops.

Mickey Factz- Mickey MauSe (Mixtape)

An interesting concept, Mickey Factz dropped this mixtape today. The tape has been described as  "a pseudo character created by RCA artist Mickey Factz who is thrown into the 1980’s as a graffiti writer who was among the stars of that decade: Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kenny Scharf, Fab Five Freddy, then mentor Andy Warhol, etc." The few songs I have listened to off of this tape have been nice, and it's definitely worth a front to back listen.

Download the mixtape here.

Stalley- Savage Journey to the American Dream vlog

Like many artists, Stalley has released a series of his vlog centered around his time at SXSW. It's a pretty cool vlog and will definitely only serve to hype up the bearded beasts album, Savage Journey to the American Dream, which drops in 4 days.

Trey Songz - Heart Attack

Trey Songz drops a single called "Heart Attack". I don't know if it's going to be on an upcoming album or what, but if you're into R&B this is a really good song. I would definitely recommend you to listen to it. Honestly the first two times I heard it, it brought tears into my eyes.. Nah I lie, but still it's a great song.

Dom Kennedy performs Grind'n in Atlanta

On his "This is Dom Kennedy" tour, Dom made a stop in Atlanta and performed his song "Grind'n". Dom Kennedy has definitely been on the up and up and is only getting better. He's definitely someone to watch out for in 2012.

Tech N9ne Ft. Sassy - Klusterfuk

Tech N9ne is still going so hard and must be like wine because I feel like he is only getting better as he ages. This is a pretty deep song off his album Klusterfuk. Has a good hook, lyrics, and beat. His EP is definitely worth a buy.

Milli Millz - She Knows

After having huge success on his mixtape "Detour" last year, Milli Millz is back and drops a song off his upcoming mixtape "Road to Millz". This is a pretty chill song and worth a listen. Definitely looking forward to his mixtape and when it drops it will be posted on here.

YG - 4Hunnid Degrees

YG drops mixtape 4Hunnid Degrees" today. DJ Ill Will and Dj Drama host this. Has some great features such as Meek Mill, Casey Veggies, Dom Kennedy, Mac Miller, Tyga, 2 Chainz, and many more. These are more of party songs, or songs to bump to. Some are pretty bad in my opinion, but the mixtape is worth a listen just because of the features for me, and like I said a lot of these songs will be played at parties.

Killer Mike ft. Scar- Untitled

Off of the Atlanta rappers upcoming album, "R.A.P Music", Killer Mike released this song today called Untitled. It's a pretty good song with a good beat and catchy hook.

Azealia Banks- Fuck up the Fun

For some reason, every single female rapper sounds exactly like Nicki Minaj. Maybe that's just me or maybe their trying to do it, but either way, it's not good. This song is no different. The face that it's produced by Diplo is it's only redeeming quality.

Download the song here.

2012 XXL Freshman Class cypher part 2

The second installment of the freshman class cypher for this years XXL Freshman class is the exact reason why this list should have been balled up and thrown in the trash. Kid Ink goes in on the first verse, and then everyone else is mediocre at best. Macklemore was the only one who was even respectable. The rest of these dudes are trash and the face that rappers with actual talent got left off this list sucks.

Ludovin ft. Childish Gambino- Tricks

Off of Ludovin's upcoming project "How to Find a Party", the song "Tricks" is pretty decent. It's got a nice beat and the Childish Gambino sounds nice, as always.

Lupe Fiasco makes 2 announcements at concert in Portland

At a recent concert in Portland, Oregon, Lupe Fiasco made a couple announcements. The depressing announcement is that he will no longer be producing mixtapes, but the announcement that made me go from six to midnight is that Food & Liquor 2, his new album, is finished and has a tentative release date for sometime in July. THANK YOU BASED GOD.

A$AP Rocky- Chunk up da Deuce Freestyle

Apparently A$AP doesn't just beat up people in the crowd, he also beats up beats. This song is pretty awesome and I'm really looking forward to A$AP's next project.

Download the song here.

Neako- LVL3XCHNGNGRMX

Today, Neako dropped this song with a title that I'm not going to type out because Jesus Christ, let's be real, who the fuck keeps naming their songs long chains of random god damn letters? Although the title is lengthy and hard to type out, the song is dope and he goes in over Soulja Boy's "Triple Chain Gang"

Download the song here.

Fashawn- Santiago's Revenge 2

Today, Fashawn dropped this hot song off of his upcoming album "Champagne and Styrofoam Cups". This song is very nice lyrically and has a good beat too, which is pretty normal for Fashawn.

J. Cole- Drank in my Cup (Remix)

Today J. Cole dropped this version of him going in over Kirko Bang's "Drank in my Cup". To be honest, I like the Kirko version better, but this isn't bad either.

Download the song here.

XV- Yellow Brick Road to SXSW (Mixtape)

Just a few moments ago, XV dropped this mixtape on his twitter. I have been extremely, ridiculously excited for XV to drop another project. XV is crazy talented and he is definitely up next in the line of rappers to start blowing up. The few songs I have listened to so far off of this tape are awesome, and I don't expect the rest of it to be any different. This is a must download.

Download the tape here.

Pries ft. Kid Ink- STFU (Music Video)

Odd Future- The OF Tape Vol. 2

Today, Odd Future dropped their second collective mixtape, The Odd Future Tape Vol. 2. The Los Angeles rap group kills it on a lot of these songs. This 19 song long mixtape is quality and definitely is worth a purchase if you're an Odd Future fan.

Listen to and purchase the album here.

Pitchfork Weekly sits down with Schoolboy Q

Pitchfork, known for their affinity for the underground and upcoming artists, sat down with Schoolboy Q at SXSW to talk about his newfound fame. Of course, I think we all know these hipsters knew about Schoolboy Q WAY before all of you posers.

Machine Gun Kelly- Half Naked and Almost Famous (EP)

Today Machine Gun Kelly dropped his "Half Naked and Almost Famous" DVD and EP. The 5 song EP has features from Cassie and Waka Flocka Flame. It's a pretty good look for MGK and a couple of the songs are pretty impressive.

Listen to and purchase the EP here.

Odd Future- Oldie (Music Video)

It's not much of a video, but at a photoshoot the members of Odd Future decided to spit their verses into the camera to make visuals for the song. The song as well as the video features newly returned rapper Earl Sweatshirt. Looks like he's here to stay.
