Earlier in the month, we posted about K'naan considering legal action against Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney's office finally gave a response to his comments. Andrea Saul, a spokesperson for Romney's campaign, issued this statement:
“The song was used through our regular blanket license, but we respect K’Naan’s statement and will not use his music again,”
Although it is not believed that K'naan will take legal action against Romney, he did make it clear that he is cool with Obama using the song whenever he wants. Yeah, take that Romeny.
