At a recent concert in Portland, Oregon, Lupe Fiasco made a couple announcements. The depressing announcement is that he will no longer be producing mixtapes, but the announcement that made me go from six to midnight is that Food & Liquor 2, his new album, is finished and has a tentative release date for sometime in July. Earl Sweatshirt announces plans to release an EP

For the first time since his storied absence from Odd Future and his return from Samoa, Earl Sweatshirt claimed on twitter to be poised to release a three track EP pretty soon. He hasn't specified a date, but I would assume it will be soon. Needless to say, this is huge, massive, epic news. Earl was arguably the most popular and most talented member of Odd Future and this EP will be HIGHLY anticipated by his fans.
