Kid Cudi- The Ruler and the Killer

This song off the upcoming Hunger Games movie soundtrack dropped today from Kid Cudi. It is more of his new rock style type music that was on WZRD. I'm not a huge fan and not a huge fan of this song either. I can't wait for Man on the Moon 3...

Kid Cudi pushes MOTM3 back to 2014

This is seriously such a sad announcement to me. I liked WZRD, but I loved the Man on the Moon series and was so excited for the next installment. It seems Cudi is much more excited about his WZRD project, which is understandable, but this wait might even be worse than waiting for the new season of Dexter. What do you guys think? Should he continue his journey with WZRD or should he have kept on with MOTM first?

WZRD drops on iTunes

Today WZRD finally released on iTunes. This album is very different. It's nice to see Cudi doing whatever he wants and not really worrying about what everyone else wants him to do, although I'm not a huge fan of the new album. It definitely has its upsides though. If you're a Cudi fan, give it a listen.

Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius featured on the cover of Complex

WZRD, made up of Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius, were featured on the cover of Complex Magazine for this month with their album set to release tomorrow. You can check out the story here and check out the cover photo above and another photo from the story below.

Wzrd - Love Hard

"Love Hard" is track #4 off of Cudi's and Dot Da Genius album that drops February 28th. I like the new sound, and personally think this is a pretty good song. It's different but so is this whole album, defiantly a huge change of style but I think that I can get use to it. This song is definitely worth a listen.

Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius discuss WZRD

The Urban Nomad, a Red Bull correspondent sat down to talk to Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius. They discussed Cudi's upcoming album WZRD, the Grammys, and more.

New School Rappers at the Grammys

As everyone in the entire universe knows, the Grammys were last night. Many new school rappers and hip hop artists were nominated or performed. Kanye West came away the most successful, pulling in awards for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Rap Song for "All of the Lights", which also gave Kid Cudi two Grammy's. West also won Best Rap Album for "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy". Unfortunately, he didn't interrupt anybodies speech this year. There were no other victories for new school artists, although there were a plethora of nominations, including 3 for Nicki Minaj, 3 for Lupe Fiasco, and 1 for Drake, Wiz Khalifa, and J. Cole.

In another Grammy related story, J. Cole and Lupe Fiasco both took their mothers with them to the red carpet. Personally, I think that's awesome. Mom, if you're reading this, if I ever go to a red carpet, you're coming with me. This gave me a lot more respect for both of these artists. Classy move.
