Chris Webby- I'm gone (Music Video)
I've never been a huge Chris Webby fan, but today his video for I'm Gone dropped. I think he has really nice rhymes and lyrically is on point, but I'm not a huge fan of his flow. This song though is pretty good and the beat is amazing. This video got over a million views in about 7 hours, so that's some pretty solid evidence that Webby is going to keep getting bigger. Check out the video above.
Rick Ross cleared in Miami murder
Earlier today, a dead body was found outside of Miami rapper and MC Rick Ross' house. After much confusion and speculation that he was wanted for the murder or that he was being brought in for questioning, the police in Miami have cleared Ross' name. However, this still doesn't explain how he was named MTV's number 1 hottest MC.
Stalley ft. Scar- Volley Express
His last release from his series of songs "Songs by me, Stalley", Stalley released Volley Express featuring Scar today. This is a pretty good song and I think Stalley is on the verge of getting pretty big, especially with his upcoming mixtape "Savage Journey to the American Dream". Check this song out if you're a Stalley fan.
Download the song here.
Pries- Together
Another leftover off his recent mixtape No Glue 2, Pries released Together today. To me, it's a good song and probably should have been included in the mixtape. It's got a nice beat and as usual Pries is on point with his flow. I would recommend downloading this song and being on the lookout for Pries in the near future.

Chip Tha Ripper ft. Casey Veggies- The Jam
Today, after revealing on Twitter that he was offered the XXL Freshman List and denied it, Chip released this hot song featuring another upcoming rapper Casey Veggies. This song has a great beat and Chip's verse is hot as well as Casey's. Download this song if you appreciate good music at all.

Kid Cudi pushes MOTM3 back to 2014
This is seriously such a sad announcement to me. I liked WZRD, but I loved the Man on the Moon series and was so excited for the next installment. It seems Cudi is much more excited about his WZRD project, which is understandable, but this wait might even be worse than waiting for the new season of Dexter. What do you guys think? Should he continue his journey with WZRD or should he have kept on with MOTM first?
Schoolboy Q ft. Ab-Soul- Druggys With Hoes Again
Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul dropped their second installment to Druggys With Hoes today, and it's a hot song. After being passed up for the XXL freshman list, which is a disgrace in my opnion, this song really just shows every aspect of why XXL was wrong for not picking him. Check the song out above.
Curren$y & Styles P- #The1st28 (Mixtape)
Today Curren$y and Styles P dropped this tape, #The1st28. This is a short tape at only 5 tracks but it's still hot. Curren$y continues his very lyrical style and Styles P has a style that is very complementary that makes them a really good combination. I would definitely check this tape out.
Download and listen to #The1st28 here.
XXL releases XXL Freshman Edition cover
The cover of the XXL Freshman Edition released today and includes some good rappers. It includes Machine Gun Kelly, Kid Ink, Future, Macklemore, and Iggy Azalea just to name a few. Although I personally think there are some snubs for this, even though there is every year, I think it's a pretty good cover with a lot of good artists. Let us know what you guys think!
Chiddy Bang- What did you do?
Chiddy Bang, still wrecking the charts on iTunes with their new album "Breakfast", let loose with another new song entitled What did you do? It comes as a B-Side to their single Ray Charles, so you can check it out on iTunes here or check it out on the youtube video above.
Russell W. Howard- Beautiful Distraction (Mixtape)
Russell W. Howard dropped his mixtape Beautiful Distraction today, and it does not disappoint. This man does not fail to come out of the woodwork every so often with fantastic music, and I hope this mixtape puts him on everyone's radar as it should. It's lyrically and beatwise a sound album with some great features including Nipsey Hussle and Jon Connor. Grab this mixtape today or you'll be missing out.
Download the tape here.
WZRD drops on iTunes
Today WZRD finally released on iTunes. This album is very different. It's nice to see Cudi doing whatever he wants and not really worrying about what everyone else wants him to do, although I'm not a huge fan of the new album. It definitely has its upsides though. If you're a Cudi fan, give it a listen.
Download it on iTunes here.

St. Millie ft. Rockie Fresh- Eight2Nine
St. Millie dropped this song today featuring Rockie Fresh. It's a pretty nice song. It has a good beat and Rockie Fresh's verse is really smooth and lyrically on point. I would most definitely check this song out.

Boldy James- Consignment (Mixtape)
Today, Boldy James dropped his mixtape Consignment. On this site we've featured a couple songs from the mixtape (such as Consignment and Oil Sheen) and both of them were good songs. Boldy lived up to my expectations with the rest of the songs and put together a solid mixtape. He has a nice flow, great beats, and all the right features in all the right places. I would most definitely recommend checking this mixtape out as well as looking out for Boldy in the near future.

Mac Miller performs song off his new mixtape
While performing at a college in his native Pennsylvania, Mac Miller performed this song off his upcoming "Macadelic" mixtape. Although it's a little hard to judge because it's a live performance, the song sounds hot and it has me pretty pumped for this mixtape.

Wiz Khalifa performs "My Favorite Song" with Juicy J on Shade 45
While in New York, Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J dropped by Shade 45 to perform one of their latest singles, "My Favorite Song". It's a hot song and a great live performance. Taylor Allderdice, Wiz's next mixtape, drops on march 13th.
Curren$y- Livin (Music Video)
Today Curren$y released the music video to his track off his recent EP "Here" entitled Livin. It's a pretty good music video and lyrically Curren$y is on point as always. His flow is smooth and so is the beat and the video is definitely worth a look. Check it out above.
BJ The Chicago Kid- Pineapple Now-Laters
BJ The Chicago Kid dropped his mixtape "Pineapple Now-Laters" today on iTunes. It's a solid mixtape with a couple tracks featuring Kendrick Lamar and some smooth beats. All in all, I'd say it's worth a download and it's definitely worth it to follow BJ The Chicago Kid and check out some of the stuff he drops in the future as well.
You can buy the album on iTunes here.
Wiz Khalifa tweets release date for Taylor Allderdice mixtape
Today on Twitter, Wiz Khalifa tweeted that the release date to his upcoming tape, Taylor Allderdice, will be March 13th. I'm excited for this mixtape, which is weird because I have not been excited at all for his last couple projects. After his long letter, in which he apologized for changing his sound on Rolling Papers, and his last few releases on the last few days, Wiz has succeeded in making me legitimately excited for this tape to drop. I can't wait to see if he brings back the old Wiz sound, which I loved.

Curren$y announces new project
On Twitter, Curren$y announced that in two days, he will be dropping a project with Styles P called #the1st28. Curren$y has been busy lately, recently dropping an EP entitled "Here". This should be pretty nice and I'm excited to see how it is.

XV ft. Sez Batters- The L7 Motto (Music Video)
Today, XV dropped this video to The L7 Motto featuring Sez Batters. This is a pretty dope video, almost exclusively featuring footage from his ongoing "Midwest State of Mind Tour". This is a great song and I'm extremely excited to see what's next in store for XV after this tour. Check the video out above.

Hodgy Beats- Untitled
Today, Hodgy Beats of Odd Future dropped his EP entitled "Untitled" (see what I did there?). It's a pretty nice tape and the production is very smooth. The beats are great and he puts down some nice lyrics on some of the songs. I would definitely recommend checking this out.

Russell W. Howard ft. Jon Connor, Joe Gates- Beautiful Distraction
Four days before his mixtape "Beautiful Distraction" is set to drop, Russell W. Howard dropped his mixtapes namesake track. This song is hot. Russell flies way under the radar but I feel like this mixtape, if the rest of the songs are anything like this one, will propel him onto everyone's radar. Download this song now or you'll regret it forever.
Check the song out here.
Chiddy Bang- Zeros
Just a few days after dropping their debut album "Breakfast" Chiddy Bang released this song today entitled Zeros. They've been working crazy hard lately, dropping an album, lots of music, and already having a mixtape in the works. This is a great song with a super hot beat. If you don't download this song, you're missing out.
Check the song out here.
Wzrd - Love Hard
"Love Hard" is track #4 off of Cudi's and Dot Da Genius album that drops February 28th. I like the new sound, and personally think this is a pretty good song. It's different but so is this whole album, defiantly a huge change of style but I think that I can get use to it. This song is definitely worth a listen.
Kid Ink - Stank in My Blunt
Kid Ink goes in over Kirko Bangs single drank in my cup. This song is pretty good, and Kid Ink proves again that he is coming up to be a household name. Definitely worth a listen.
Nicki Minaj feat Lil Wayne - Roman reloaded
The beat is pretty insane. I can't wait until someone talented goes over this beat. So many rappers are going to go over this instrumental. This version of the song is tolerable, it's standard Nicki, but I actually like Wayne's verse a little. Worth a listen for the beat itself.
MTV releases hottest MCs honorable mentions list.
Today MTV dropped their honorable mentions for their hottest MCs list. Yet again, Kendrick Lamar, who had a phenomenal year, got snubbed. To me, this list is pretty weak and baffling and the honorable mentions are no different. Here's the list:
J. Cole
TI
Eminem
2 Chainz
Young Jeezy
Fabolous
Young Money signs....wait for it....Limp Bizkit?
Yeah, you read that right. Limp Bizkit, who I thought stopped making music after they realized they were terrible in the 90s, signed with YMCMB today. Seriously, what is Lil Wayne thinking? I'm seriously questioning what's in his cup now. After a slew of seemingly irrelevant people have been signed to this label, you really have to think, what's next for them? Clearly this label is surviving off the commercial success of Drake and Nicki Minaj, so if they start to fail, who is going to hold this label up? Omarion? Lil Zane? I don't think so.

Boldy James ft. Fatboi Fresh- Oil Sheen (Grease Monkey)
Boldy dropped the second track off his upcoming tape "Consignment: A Favor for a Favor" today. This is a hot track, and I'm excited for this mixtape to drop to see what the rest of the tracks are like, although I'm sure they'll all be as nice as this one.
Download the song here.
Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius discuss WZRD
The Urban Nomad, a Red Bull correspondent sat down to talk to Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius. They discussed Cudi's upcoming album WZRD, the Grammys, and more.
Black Cobain- Triumph Freestlye
Just now on twitter Black Cobain released this lengthy freestyle. It's pretty nasty and very smooth, I would definitely recommend it for a download and be looking out for Black Cobain in the near future.
Download the song here.
Pries- All
A song that didn't make the cut for his recent No Glue 2 mixtape, All by Pries is a pretty decent song. If you're a Pries fan, I would recommend downloading it.
Download the song here.
DMX ft. Machine Gun Kelly- I Don't Dance
This is a pretty odd pairing, but it's always pretty cool to see two artists like this get together. I've never been a big fan of DMX, but I think these two make a good pair and that this song is pretty hot.

Wiz Khalifa ft. Chevy Woods- Funkmaster Flex Freestyle
Wiz's amount of free music being released in the last two days is impressive. A little bit ago he dropped his fifth song in two nights, Funkmaster Flex Freestyle ft. Chevy Woods. It's another good song so check it out. The picture is what I imagine Wiz's face to look like when he drops free music.
Download Funkmaster Flex Freestyle here.
Wiz Khalifa - Mary x3
After dropping a slew of new music yesterday, Wiz dropped yet another song today entitled Mary x3. This is another classic Wiz song, giving me even more hope that he's going back to his old style of music and getting me even more excited for his upcoming tape, Taylor Allderdice.
Check the song out here.
Mac Miller's "Knock Knock" goes gold
Today it was announced that Mac Miller's "Knock Knock" has gone gold. The song, off of his album K.I.D.S, was a huge success. It now joins "Donald Trump" to become his second independently produced song to go gold. That's a pretty huge feat, so big ups to Mac Miller.
BJ The Chicago Kid ft. Kendrick Lamar- The World is a Ghetto
Today BJ The Chicago Kid and Kedrick Lamar linked up to release this hot track, The World is a Ghetto. It's a nice song with a great beat, definitely check it out. The song is featured on BJ The Chicago Kid's album Pineapple Now-Laters which is currently available on iTunes.
Download the song here.
Tris J ft. Sir Michael Rocks- G.E.D (Gettin Every Dolla)
Today, Sir Michael Rocks and his best friend Tris J dropped this song entitled Gettin Every Dolla. This is pretty hot, as always Sir Michael Rocks kills it lyrically and Tris J goes off over a nice beat as well. Check this song out and you won't be disappointed.
Check it out here.
J. Cole- Grew Up Fast
Today J. Cole released a song today with some nice flow over a nice, old school beat. It's a pretty simple song but it's still pretty good. I'd definitely recommend it.

Wiz Khalifa - Morocco
"This song is about acceptance. Not necessarily feelin unaccepted but not really feelin accepted for you who you are. Anyway, Here it is." This is what Wiz Khalifa has to say about his new song Morocco. This song consist of Wiz singing auto-tune, but also dropping a good verse over a solid beat. Wiz has been busy dropping music all day, but this is different from everything else. The last thing I wanted to hear was another Wiz song that sounded mainstream but this is different than that, with a unique feel to it. Defiantly worth a listen.
Chevy Woods feat. Wiz Khalifa - Homerun
New music from Chevy Woods feat. none other than Wiz Khalifa, song "Homerun" just dropped a couple hours ago. It's classic Wiz and Chevy and defiantly worth a listen. Not sure if Chevy is dropping a mixtape, but if so this would be on it. Wiz is on the hook and this is a pretty chill song.
Chiddy Bang- Handclaps and Guitars
Chiddy Bang is destroying the iTunes charts with their new album. One of Chiddy Bang's songs, Handclaps and Guitars, has been selected to be the Single of the Week on itunes. With that, we get a free download of this song. Pretty dope. I would definitely recommend checking it out as well as buying their album.

Mos Def- N***as in Poorest
Wow. Today Mos Def dropped the visuals to his moving song and remix of the Jay Z and Kanye hit "Niggas in Poorest". To be honest, this is one of those songs that just grabs you and shakes you. It's legitimately one of the best songs I think I've ever heard. Check out the visuals above.
Download the song here.
Stalley- Midnight Satori
This installment of Stalley's upcoming mixtape "Song by me, Stalley" is actually the first song I've heard by this artist. It's a short song at 1:16 long, but it's a pretty catchy song with a smooth flow. I'd recommend giving it a listen and checking out his mixtape when it drops as well.
Download the song here.
The Cranberry Show - Sail
This song is a little less than a month old, but it is defiantly worth a listen and download. These guys are from Milwaukee, and they call themselves the "Cranberry Show". This is my random post of the day, but really it's worth a listen.
B.o.B - So good
Another Single off of B.o.B's highly anticipated album "Strange Clouds". I really enjoy the song and definatly think it is worth a listen and download. Be cool and tell people you heard it before it was popular.

Chris Brown and Rihanna release two new songs together.
Last night, Chris Brown and Rihanna released two songs, Turn up the Music (Remix) and Birthday Cake (Remix). Both songs are pretty typical of both artist and very radio play oriented, but let's be real here, this story isn't about the music. Are Chris Brown and Rihanna getting back together possibly? Many sings point to yes. I feel like that would lead to a huge divide among fans to be honest, but we'll see how it pans out.

MTV rounds out their top 10 hottest MCs list.
After releasing their list artist by artist, the list is finally complete, and goes like this:
10- Wale
9- Wiz Khalifa
8- Big Sean
7- Meek Mill
6- Jay-Z
5- Lil Wane
4- Nicki Minaj
3- Kanye West
2- Drake
1- Rick Ross
I think this list is interesting. That's the only words I can come up with for it. I agree with a lot of it. Wale had a huge year, Wiz Khalifa made Rolling Papers which had huge mainstream success (and then regained the respect of many Taylors when he apologized for it), Big Sean released Finally Famous, Meek Mill had a big year even without having an album out, Jay-Z and Kanye had Watch the Throne, and Drake has had large mainstream success as well. However....Nicki Minaj? Really? I realize Pink Friday sold a lot, but her music is just so awful. Lyrically she's just garbage. I don't necessarily disagree that Rick Ross is a good MC but...number one on the list? His Maybach Music Group has hit huge but still. I'm just not sure where that one came from. Kind of way out of left field to me. What are your guys' opinions? Let us know in the comment section!
Drop Dead Sexy
Reports of a sex tape that has rapper nate Dogg and an unidentified female is being marketed around. No site has bought the tape yet, but sources say that it was taped "years ago". Nate Dogg has been dead since last year so I won't be surprised if this eventually gets leaked for all of you who have been antincipating it.. lol.
OFWGKTA Unreleased Volume 4 mixtape
Today Odd Future hooked us up with 13 unreleased songs on their Odd Future Unreleased Music Volume 4. It's a pretty standard Odd Future tape, with songs form various artists including Tyler, Hodgy Beats, Mike G, and more. If you're an Odd Future fan, I would definitely check this tape out.
Download it here.
WZRD album sampler
Today, Kid Cudi dropped a five and a half minute sampler to his new project WZRD. It's....interesting. It's definitely different. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but you can check it out for yourself below.
Download the sampler here.
Kid Cudi- Dose of Dopeness
Kid Cudi fans can rejoice. Today Kid Cudi just released this song first performed live three years ago. After not releasing the song for three entire years, Kid Cudi finally dropped the song today. It's classic Kid Cudi. Uplifting beat, and classic Cudi lyrics. Definitely a must listen.

50 Cent Has a Much Needed Revelation.
Apparently 50 still has fans, or at least one. That is what shocked me most about this. He was supposed to be dropping a lowly anticipated LP, which seems to never be coming out. For rap's sake I really hope that it never drops, but 50 says he "may have to fall back" which is pretty much a message from the heavens.
Tyga's Careless World pulled from store shelves
Tyga really does seem to not be having much luck with this album. The album is set to drop on February 21st, but many stores have been issued an order to pull it from the shelves due to an unauthorized use of a Martin Luther King Jr. speech. The speech can be found on the first track, Careless World. The issue has apparently already been resolved, as Tyga took to his twitter to say that the album will still be coming out on the 21st. By the looks of it, it's going to be a hot album, so I hope he's correct in saying it will still be dropping in two days.
