Tuesday afternoon, students at TEAM Englewood High School in Chicago got a surprise visit that I think everyone could appreciate. Lupe Fiasco and Matt Damon teamed up to come to the school and talk to the children about poetry, reading, and personal takes on the problems in the United States that are currently happening. Personally, I can't think of a better combination to get through to kids. Lupe Fiasco is one of the most articulate men I've listened to and I would be afraid Matt Damon would go all Bourne Identity on me if I wasn't paying attention. The pair spoke at the school on Tuesday afternoon, and then performed readings and poetry with local people at the Metro Nightclub that evening.
